    Easy scheduling for the appointment. Vehicle drop off was smooth. I really appreciated the technician inspection report and recommendations that were emailed to me. They were honest with what exactly was needed and not pushy to do anything extra. The price for repair was better than what I expected and very reasonable.

    I really liked how easy getting an appointment was and how I could drop off my car after hours. Then when my appointment came, they were very thorough and I was able to see what was happening, and what they were doing with my car after they sent me my inspection results via their website. My car did take a little longer than expected and there were some small confusing things regarding communication but overall they were really nice people and did a great job with my car. I would use their services again

    Long overdue review! I was 2,100 miles away from home and my Jeep's TCM took a dump on me. Obviously, being a young woman by myself so far away from home, I was hesitant to take my car to a shop, but it had to be done. The crew at B & L met my expectations and then some! They took time to listen to me, explain exactly what was wrong, and offered me various solutions. I did not feel pressured at all to go about this complicated repair in one way over another. I ended up ordering a rebuilt TCM from another seller, shipped it to the shop, and they very quickly replaced and tested it. I was back on the road in no time. Highly recommend this place!     Super bad experience they don't know what they are doing ... changed for what the "believed my truck had and blamed me for not telling them what to check.! I took it to another shop and got it fixed thank god... I spoke with "Dave fregor" and he was screaming and talking over me.... i asked to talk to someone else or manager but he said he was the only person I could talk to and didn't try to help me at all!!! Not recommended AT ALL!!!!!!!!.

While we regret that we weren’t able to resolve the issue at that time, we’re glad to hear you were ultimately able to get it taken care of. Intermittent vibrations — especially those related to the driveline or transmission — can be difficult to diagnose, as they often occur only under specific conditions. During your visit, we road-tested the vehicle but were unable to duplicate the symptom, and no transmission-related trouble codes were present to help guide us. The only codes found were for unrelated systems. In situations like this, our standard process is to: Perform a comprehensive Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) to check for visible issues or common sources of vibration — several of which were noted during your inspection. Share those findings and discuss potential next steps before moving forward with any additional diagnostics, repairs, or costs — with no surprises. It’s also worth noting that problems of this nature can progress over time and become more consistent, which often makes the root cause easier to pinpoint — particularly with internal transmission components.

    Was told I need a new engine and quoted over $8k at the dealership. This seemed crazy for the mileage, age and the maintenance I preform on my car. Went to b&l for a second opinion, they determined I did not need a new engine but just an oil pain saving me $7k. They gave my car the attention they would their own vehicles and I am beyond appreciative for their due diligence with getting me + my rig safely out the door!

    Buyer beware! I need my power steering pump replaced. They gave me an estimate almost twice as high as the next guy I called. Then, they tried to add on $650 to replace the serpentine belt that has to be taken off to replace the power steering pump anyway. $55-$75 part, they quoted me $240 for. Honestly, I think they tried to jack us up because I had my wife set the appointment and talk to them because I was pretty busy with work. My wife had no idea that they were trying to charge us $650 to replace a belt that would already be removed to complete the essential repairs. Ladies should be very careful taking their vehicles here, because it seems like they will try and take advantage of you. All told, we paid to get our vehicle towed to another shop and still paid less than half as much as they quoted us here.

We want those conversations so you feel confident and informed when making decisions with your hard-earned money. In this case, the estimate was broken out as if each job was standalone. That’s our error — overlapping labor wasn’t adjusted or explained properly. Labor systems don’t apply overlap automatically, and that’s something we should have caught and communicated better. As for pricing, we don’t use economy-grade parts. We use OE-equivalent or better kits, backed by nationwide warranty coverage on both parts and labor. That’s why our pricing may be higher than quotes using off-the-shelf parts or installs without warranty. We understand you chose another shop — and that’s your right. Our aim isn’t to be the cheapest, but to provide long-term value, quality work, and peace of mind. We’re proud of our team and the work we do, and we’re always open to honest conversation when concerns come up. We wish you the best with your vehicle moving forward.

    I understand all vehicles are different. I made an appointment to have a "sound" examined on my 2020 F150 that was coming from the passenger front wheel. I dropped the truck off after waiting 2 weeks for an appointment only to be told that the technician couldn't hear or find anything during the short diagnostic trip. I was charged $90 for something that was considered a phantom sound. Upon leaving the B&L, the sound was very prevelant. As it turns out, the sound is a VERY COMMON issue with F150's. It is the IWE (part of the 4wd hub) that had lost it's vacuum and was making the rubbing noise. They told me that if I hear it again, to immediately come back. Charge me again for diagnostic I asked? They said "Yes". I have since driven the truck to a different repair garage that will not charge me for diagnostic. A little dissapointed...

    I recently bought a used Ford F350, and after a few days, I started hearing a weird noise during slow turns. So, I took it into the shop for a check. They inspected the vehicle and found the issue pretty quickly, but what stood out to me was how they explained everything. They didn’t just tell me—they showed me. I got photos and videos of what they found, which made me feel like I knew exactly what was going on. Even though the engine wasn’t the issue, they still checked its vitals to make sure everything was in good shape. Instead of trying to sell me on an expensive repair, they were upfront and told me the problem would actually be covered under warranty because of the truck’s age. They recommended I take it to the dealership, which honestly saved me a lot of money. This was my first experience with this shop, and I have to say, the way they handled things and communicated with me was unlike any other shop I’ve worked with in town. I'll definitely be going back if I need anything in the future.

    Bought an ‘07 forester XT a few months ago and unfortunately the power steering started leaking under the car a few weeks after I got it. No other shop in town I talked to would touch the car or get me as soon as I needed. Gave these guys a call and were able to stop by the shop day-of to have a tech look at the car and then got an appointment for the following week. Long story short, after a few more visits of trying to figure out what was wrong they ended up replacing the whole steering rack and now the car drives great with no leaks from the rack. They even said to come back in a week to bring it by for a free check-up to see how everything is working. Always super nice, professional dudes and don’t charge an arm and a leg for quality work. I definitely recommend them to anyone!

    B & L provided very thorough and knowledgeable service when I was having issues with my pickup. As a young woman, I've dealt with condescending and dishonest mechanics in the past, and the guys at B & L were the complete opposite of that. They sent a very detailed inspection report and Brandon took the time to explain to me exactly what was going on and how the technician would go about fixing it. Overall an excellent experience and I will definitely be back if I have vehicle issues in the future!

    So far, I’m very happy with these guys. First and foremost importantly, they come across as honest. Secondly, they are reasonably priced. Went in for an A/C issue, and is blowing cold now so it appears they’ve fixed it although I’m due in for a leak detection in a week or two which makes sense for the type of problem. Will be using these guys again and recommend them.

    B&L came highly recommended by a friend. My 2014 Dodge Ram died. So I had it towed to B&L. They contacted me the next day letting me know that they're very busy. It would be about two weeks before they could get to my truck. Hours later they called to let me know they had a cancelation. They got to my truck immediately. They constantly keep updated through text messages. With full details of the work required. Along with high def video and pictures. Work was completed in days. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Five stars is all Google will allow me to give them. Personally, I would give them 10/10. My friend hit it out of the park by recommending them. I highly recommend them too👊🏼

    I cannot share enough positive feedback about B&L Quality Repair. I utilize their service for my personal and business vehicles and have never run into any issues. The staff is honest and never annoyed with questions, or phone calls to check in on your vehicle after they've given an update on your vehicle.     We came in for a throttle body. They replaced it, we ubered there. The car didnt start. They ubered us back to our house. Figured out the fuel pump was faulty. They fixed that and ate the cost on some of the labor and the credit card charge. We found a small scratch under our rear passenger tail light. The quality of repair seems good. We havent had any issues since the repair. It was a strange experience. However after spending an unexpected 1600$+ I think anyone would be slightly upset. Overall I feel like the job was solid. However because of the scratch under the passenger tail light I cant personally recommend them because your car might end up damaged in the end. Take it for what it's worth.

And then, someone took the time to call me back immediately and gave me the option to bring the car in and then told me how I might be able to fix it myself.     I have taken my vehicles to b and l for about 5 years now and my fiancé has for over a decade— we have never had a bad experience. Simply to say, there is a reason we keep coming back. We have been continually impressed with their quality of work and integrity as a business. As a woman that admittedly doesn’t know much about cars that has had some rough experiences with many other mechanics around town, I have never felt “taken advantage of” and have always been met with honesty and no pushy-ness towards unnecessary money-grab work. Their integrity and willingness to work with us through a recent issue with my car is what prompted me to leave this (admittedly overdue) review after so many years. Though it is not the absolute cheapest place in town, but I truly believe you pay for the quality you receive, and I have always received lasting high quality work met with honest and friendly faces.     I bought a pt cruiser it was pretty messed up, in need of serious repairs (3X value of car). I really like this car. They figured out what needed repairs the most & everything else.     I would never recommend or go here again They charged me 150.00 for a job that was incomplete & left me stranded in terrible weather. I asked to have my battery changed and alternator looked at. Instead of diagnosing the problem, they "cleaned" my battery terminals ((there was still corrosion on the battery when I picked it up). My car died in -20 below in the canyon. I took it to another shop & they said it definitely needed a new battery & alternator based on a few quick tests they showed me & had me out in just a few hours.

    A great experience! I was so impressed with the customer service of everyone here. My truck needed wheel bearings and brakes, they could not get me in for a few weeks due to the holiday season, but they asked me to swing it by earlier than that so they could put a mechanic in to drive it and check to make sure everything was at least safe for me to drive while I waited for my appointment. Once I had my scheduled appointment, the communication was great- really thorough and professional- they explained everything in a way that I can understand, and did not try to upsell anything that was unnecessary.

    Our car has only been out of the shop now for 5 days now and as far as we can tell, the problem we took it in for has been fixed. I really appreciate that you take the time to do a COMPLETE inspection of the vehicle and notify the owner of any deficiencies. It reminded me we also needed an oil change! We really appreciate the fact that the work performed was ONLY what we agreed upon. Not going to lie that that cost was a shock but knowing what the cost of parts are and the increase of costs in this wonderful economy we're in, I feel it was more than fair!     I have tried to get in touch with B&L to resolve things but have not heard back. Before taking my car in for warrantied work I sent all information on diagnostics and previous repairs. 3 times in fact, and yet somehow none of this was utilized. After 2 days of calling and trying to coordinate I gave up on getting everything done. The icing on the cake was the $97 oil change that apparently did not include any fluid top off. Won’t every use these folks again, extremely overpriced and incapable of communication. Since posting this they have been hounding me for a resolution. The repair they did went bad after 2 weeks. These folks seem to be very communicative after they've taken your money and asked you for a review, but are incredibly difficult to get ahold of before repair or while you car is there. Their novel length responses to customers who have not have a good experience speak for themselves. Yikes.

    Hello Carolyn, We greatly appreciate that you took the time to give us a review, bad or good, as we take all customer reviews seriously and use them as an opportunity to review ourselves and our procedures. We are only human after all, and mistakes can, and do, happen. Even though we strive to keep these to a minimum. We apologize that you did not receive the usual level of customer service that we strive to maintain, and our customers have come to expect. We explained at the time of repair that two employees suffered a family loss, and we were running short-staffed unexpectedly. You brought your vehicle to us for a “Warranty Repair” from your original out-of-state shop. Whenever a warranty issue is dealt with, it is required to diagnose that it is indeed a related issue to the original repair. We will not just “throw on the covered parts” and send our customers out the door. We do everything we can to make sure it is a complete repair that addresses the whole issue. This satisfies the warranty requirements and makes for a longer-lasting repair. Despite your parts being out of warranty from the previous repair shop by over 10,000 miles, we still goodwill covered the warranty, as well as $500+ in the time we spent chasing the very hard to verify concerns you had about the “under warranty” parts. Not only did we cover all these extras, but we also resolved what appeared to be the root cause of your concern, as well as completed your last-minute added services. We have reached out to try and address your concerns, you thus far have very much shrugged off our attempts to make the situation right. Our attempts to reach you included one Thank You text (that all of our customers receive), a phone call and an email in which there was a limited exchange. All communications stopped after that, and we have not been "hounding you for a resolution" as you claim above. If this is your definition of "hounding", then we do apologize and have removed your contact information from our systems so as not to disturb you in the future. TWICE you have attempted to get money from us for your "expenses". We offered to cover your Uber transportation expenses while your vehicle was in the shop. When asked for a copy of the receipts, so we can reimburse you with a check or with cash at the counter, your communications fell silent for weeks. Only to follow with a request of a refund, because you claim your warranty parts have failed, but you are "much too busy to bring the vehicle" for confirmation. We explained the work you are requesting a refund for, was not only FREE to you, but we also came out of pocket to warranty them for you as a courtesy, as they were OUT of warranty by 10k Miles. This was only met with threats of "reporting" our business. We are aware offering to pay for your expenses does not resolve your concerns, nor is it how we prefer to bring satisfaction to our customers, we wanted the opportunity to do right by you, even in the event you would not have us for future repairs. We recognize that we are not the repair shop you are used to dealing with, and we fully understand that. As such, we also know that this is just not going to be a good match. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to assist you. We wish you the best and hope you find a repair shop more suited to your expectations and needs.

Called the morning of my appointment and talk to a gentleman about my vehicle told him what symptoms I was told by another shop plus what I thought was going on and some of the experiences I was having while driving my vehicle. He said they would text me back in the afternoon with what was going on with my truck. Have never had as good of details with what was going on with my truck ever before taking it to b&L quality. Had described everything in detail to what was happening as well as sending a photo of what they were seeing was going on. I have not ever had any shop ever do that in Bozeman! They were very honest and upfront about everything that needed to be done, and very fair about what they've done and the price was very reasonable on what they had done for the day. I would definitely recommend b&L quality if you get the chance or if you need your vehicle work done. The reason for changing my review was talking things over with my brother we decided to get a second opinion, and Boy am I happy 😊 I did! It had been diagnosed totally wrong and went from needing a transmission totally rebuilt cost $7300, to front driver's side hub and sway bar ready to fall off on both sides cost $713. You might want to think twice if it's a major problem with your car. He even advised me about putting that much money into my car. I'm just saying I'm glad I got a second opinion huge savings for me.

First off, thank you for going out of your way to leave your original review, denoting your positive experience. We were happy to work with you, I am hoping in clearing up some of the inconsistencies, we can land in a place of understanding regarding our recommendations for your vehicle. While in our shop your vehicle was diagnosed by an ASE certified master technician. Amidst our diagnosis, My technician listed the transmission as a concern due to "very dark fluid, noted as foaming, though at the correct level" as well as "audible noise coming from the inside of the transmission". Internal transmission work is beyond our scope of services provided. We recommended you to a transmission shop for further diagnosis, as we suspected it may need repair, as much as being rebuilt. We provided you with an estimate on a transmission replacement solely to provide you with as much information as we could to help you make an educated decision on your next steps. Our concern was that the repair may be in excess of the vehicles value. As an advisor, It is my job to lead customers to repair decisions that are most logical and economical. When presented with repairs that are likely in the thousands, our protocol is to stop diagnosis, document & educate the customer to the issues found. We did not recommend a replacement of your transmission, but again, recommended you take it to transmission specialist. We took Video documentation of the noises we experienced as well as a fluid sample, this sample was photographed and documented in the digital inspection sent to you. When you and I spoke on the phone, I stated that as common practice, when presented with a repair likely in the price range of a vehicles worth. We would recommend a complete inspection of your vehicle before proceeding with any work. You Declined any further inspection. Your broken sway bar links were visibly damaged, and were noted in the "other noted items" section of your digital inspection, they were also photographed and included in your inspection. This inspection is still available for your review at the link originally provided, via Text Message. The written portion of these recommendations is also included in the invoice provided to you when your vehicle was returned. This was One of the Three items we noted in need of attention while we diagnosed your concerns, all of these concerns are accompanied by photos and videos in the inspection provided to you. We halted all diagnosis when presented with the information that you may be looking at a very expensive repair. We simply do not feel comfortable charging increased diagnostic time after our findings. While your vehicle was, and is, in need of other repairs; Unfortunately, your wheel bearing and sway bar link replacement does not change the recommendation of taking your truck to a transmission shop for further diagnosis, the color of your fluid is very much of concern, with the added symptom of foaming fluid coming from the case, something is causing the internals of your transmisison to whip and aerate your fluid, which is a large concern. We hope this clarification can help in understanding what is going on with your vehicle, and where our recommendations come from. We take customer feedback very seriously, and hope this attempt to clarify is received with good intentions.     B&L recharged the AC on my daughters RAV4 and provided a creative way to locate a likely slow leak in the system by adding oil with a UV marker that will glow under UV light. If the system continues to leak they will be able to locate and fix the source in the future. This is way more reasonable than the Toyota dealers proposed solution which was to replace everything in the AC system for a very high price.

    Bozeman Transmission referred me to B&L Quality Repair LLC. I had already obtained a diagnostic code (failing transfer-case module) from another repair shop who used a SNAP-ON, hand-held, vehicle diagnostic instrument to identify the problem, but they could not do the repair. On Tue 6/6, I took the vehicle to B&L and the tech used the same type of hand-held diagnostic instrument to confirm this code. I asked B&L to provide me an estimate to replace the failing transfer case module and was told that B&L’s policy does not allow for providing an estimate, without first doing an inspection diagnosis. During this same discussion, B&L provided me an estimate of one hour of labor to do the inspection diagnosis and it was scheduled for Tue 6/20/2023. On 6/20, at 11 AM, I received the inspection report, via digital text, and called B&L to discuss the findings, which turned out to be the same as the initial diagnostic code. I told the B&L tech that I would call him back, as soon as I spoke with my daughter, who owns the vehicle. Within a few minutes, I called B&L back and asked the tech for pricing. I was told the cost to repair the vehicle is $1,350 (including the $677 cost of the module), plus one hour of labor (@$150 per hr.) for the diagnostic inspection that was done this same day. The tech said he had to attend a meeting, but following the meeting, he would check on the part availability and call me back. About an hour later, he called and said the part was backordered; it would take 4-6 weeks. During the conversation, the tech disparaged Chrysler products, in general, and told me that this electronic module failure is common on this year, make and model. He recommended trading-in and replacing the vehicle. At 5:30 PM, my daughter picked up her vehicle and was billed $300, instead of $150. When she asked why, B&L told her that the inspection took two hours, not one. Moments later, I called and spoke with Ken to find out why my daughter was billed twice what we had already been quoted two different times, on 6/6 and 6/20. He told me that even though I had received the inspection report digitally that morning and had two subsequent conversations that day with B&L regarding costs and part availability, the estimate was given to me before the inspection was actually completed, and by the time the inspection work was complete, the cost had doubled. Apparently, it had taken two hours, instead of one, to confirm the same code that had been already identified by the B&L tech on 6/6, and prior to that, by the other repair shop. I told Ken that I appreciate the company’s policy, which refuses to estimate the repair cost, before the diagnostics, (because it avoids the possibility of unrealized expectations), but I asked how a digital company with a purported reputation for accuracy, could twice (1st on 6/6 and 2nd on 6/20) provide an incorrect labor estimate; PLUS, on the very day of the inspection, have three interaction-opportunities to correct the 'inspection time-required' mistake, and only when the young-woman who owns the vehicle arrives to pick it up, tell her that the cost had doubled. How can we believe B&L’s $1,350 cost to repair the vehicle will be accurate?

    Hello David, Brandon here. For clarifications sake, I was your point of contact before and after service. Ken, the owner, did not participate in this exchange. First, I would like to apologize for the lapse in service you experienced. I am both surprised and taken aback by this review, as we shared a positive, friendly exchange with your daughter and her husband, before and during, the pickup of her vehicle. When discussing the difference in the costs communicated before completion, and the amount of charge on the ticket, we happily showed the real time tracked by our shop systems. In ownership of our miscommunication and in pursuit of resolution, we waived over $100 in diagnostic charges, the standard surcharges and the 3% card transaction fee. We concluded the interaction with smiles and handshakes. I would further like to address the miscommunications at hand. -In regard to the final bill. Your conversation with the production manager who gave you a price, took place before a final write up was concluded on the vehicle, leaving him unable to provide you the correct final cost. This was a lapse in our procedural steps of service, and of course we stand by making our mistakes right as noted above. -In regard to our conversation in the parking lot on 6/6, You and I had an in-depth discussion, including our policy on estimates, and the expected worst-case scenario. I was very plain and open in that the code provided is not a diagnosis of an issue, rather, it is an indicator of a fault in the related systems and components. At no point did I "quote a diagnostic", though I did inform you the diagnostic would be at the cost of $150 an hour, charged at the amount of time spent to diagnose. This is standard practice and policy and what is to be expected in any diagnostic service performed. As with all cases, I was clear that we could be several hours into a diagnostic without an answer, all the same, we could diagnose the issues in 30 minutes. I explained in length that this may be a time intensive disassembly of the entire center console area for testing of wiring and electronics, as the issue was brought forth by a "64oz Lemonade being spilled" on the center console. This brings to light the exact reason we do not provide estimates without seeing the vehicle, to your agreement, "this allows for the possibility of unrealized expectations". No shop can possibly know the extent of electronics related diagnostic procedures needed for all cases. -With respect to our policy on full transparency, we explained in depth the extent of work included in the service. This work included testing of each individual component to do with the affected system, including wiring, pin tension & circuit integrity, searching for corroded or fouled connectors, removal of and reinstallation of interior seats and the associated modules for testing, including power, grounds, signals in and out and the information available within them. This time also included on-road and on-lift time to address the noises heard coming from the affected drivetrain components, consistent with internal damage or failure. Metal was found present in the transfer case leading to what is likely a much more serious repair, of which we informed you. Your choice to liken this process to "Just a code scan" is less than honest and insulting to our team as well as any mechanic out there. I returned your call after business hours on the 20th to discuss your concerns, and how we came to the resolution made directly with the customers, Your Daughter & Her Husband. Unfortunately, as stated on our phone call and in the review, accusing our shop of doubling the price just because your daughter is female and/or because she did not complete repairs with us is a gross misrepresentation and goes strongly against our company code of ethics. In the future we hope you find a shop that can more readily live up to your expectations and needs.

    B & L is my go to for anything mechanical issues. They have worked on 3 of my vehicles. Very knowledgeable on modified rigs. They always have a good attitude and the prices are fair. Took my modified 2019 Jeep Cherokee in for an alignment, had to wait a month but worth it! I had the same rig at Big O for an emergency alignment and the couldn’t get it true but B&L did! Car runs great, no issues, all routine maintenance. My favorite part was B&L provided a free diagnosis of other problems the car might have in a detailed report they gave me. This report included pictures of potential problem areas so that I could see them for myself and decide whether I want to fix them or not.

    Went in for a wheel bearing replacement. Received no updates without repeatedly calling after my car was already there for 32 hours midweek. After my car was there 56 hours I called back and was told it would be another day, and then asked for cost estimates. Brandon told me the part would be $400 some, and the labor close to $700 some for a total of $1250 including the diagnosis fee. What a crook! A reputable mechanic just down the street confirmed $500 to repair it, parts and all. When I went back to get my key, I saw the part that they had ordered for my car and looked up the model number later. Only $140 for the part. Yes, B and L seems to have a good reputation, but for whatever reason they felt obliged to try to rip me off for a lot of my cash. Don't recommend, mostly on account of the customer service/front desk team.

    Justin, we take reviews, good or bad, as an opportunity to review ourselves and our methods. We are sorry that you feel you were not treated fairly at your last visit. We took the time and reviewed our records for your visit and found that the numbers and times you stated in your review are severely out of context and exaggerated. We understand the frustration of being without your vehicle and today's times and costs related to vehicle repairs. You agreed to drop your vehicle off on a "stand-by" basis as you did not have an appointment, and we were upfront in telling you it could be 48 to 72 hours before we could even take a look at it as we are already extremely busy. We also have records of reaching out to you, multiple times, with no reply. This only delays things further as we do not just repair and surprise charge the customer. Our policy is to inspect the vehicles in our shop to try and inform the customer as to the overall condition of their vehicle to help them make solid financial choices. Yes, the quote was close to what you stated with us recommending ABOVE the bare minimum. The actual quote for the repair you wished to proceed with was around the $650 mark all in. Inspection, diagnostic, parts and repair labor. Well below the stated $1250 in your review. We do not use economy parts and stand behind our work 3/36 nationwide. We do not claim, nor want to be, the "cheapest shop around". At the same token we are not "Crooks" and we do not "Rip Off" our customers. We hope you find a shop that better suits your needs.

    I came in for an a/c compressor inspection when an electrical issue happened and shut me down in their lot. They found the problem right away and wanted to diagnose further and get the needed parts. Next day got a call it was up and running! WAY above and beyond and at a very good price. As Mentioned, your vehicle came in with an almost in-operable sun roof. Upon initial inspection of your sunroof, we found several components void of lubrication, causing sticking/binding when sliding open/closed. What we charged for was the 90 minutes of labor spent to disassemble as needed, inspect, confirm no broken or failed parts, test the motor and control system for proper operation, cleaned parts as needed and then lubricate moving components and reassemble your sun roof, all with an ASE Certified Master technicians trained set of eyes. While I can understand the sentiment of "Only Needed Lubricant" as you have put it, Insinuates a simple repair, we just wanted to take a second opportunity to clarify the extent of the work performed while we took care of your vehicle! If you have Any concerns otherwise please feel free to reach out! Thank you for the opportunity to help!

    I returned two months later for a quick part install (this time non-digital service). Because they are experts they are super knowledgeable about the process, and therefore as they are friendly and flexible it becomes a fun experience as I learn more about taking care of my car. I am super happy with the service, communication, and professionalism. There is not a Lexus dealer in town, and after searching I found B & L Quality Repair who are committed to transparency and fair pricing! They have great expertise, as well as attitude. I plan to have all future diagnostics, repairs, and even oil changes with them.

Other places I called said it would be two to three weeks out. I got a text that afternoon to pick up the truck, it was done. That's service.

    I was in a bad way with my alternator. When it decided to quit there was no getting help anywhere. I have been going to B&L for a while and they stepped up in a big way. My jeep pretty much died when I hit the shop. They gave me a ride back to work and had it ready by the end of my shift. Very nice people as well!

    I have only used your services once, but I will be back. My AC quit working during a time that we were having record high temps.     We had a severe oil leak start while traveling in Bozeman. They got us in right away. Put our 2013 Dodge Durango up on the rack. Diagnosed it was a loose oil filter. Tightened it up and fixed the leak in about 10 minutes. They didn’t even want to charge us for this service. We left a big tip in their “Beer Fund” can. Great people and terrific auto repair shop!!

    B & L Quality Repair came to my rescue when I broke down next door to their place of business. I was taking my dog to the groomer when my truck wouldn't start after I dropped her off. I walked over to their office and they were quick to send a tech out to see what may be wrong. Well...it wasn't an easy fix and it was going to take a couple of days to repair. I had voiced my concern about needing to get my boys to the airport by 11am and they were SO generous as to offer us a ride to the airport so my boys wouldn't miss their flight. That afternoon they completed the diagnostic and sent us pictures of what they had found. Very informative!!! Our total even came in just under their original estimate. I am VERY pleased by their professionalism and customer service. They went ABOVE and BEYOND to help a momma in need!!! I highly recommend them for all of your automotive needs!

    They were able to fit me in on the same day to do an ac recharge on a Friday. Great work but I could not make it back in by closing at 5:30. So upon taking with my wife they decided we would pay over the phone and they would leave the bill and the keys in my truck and leave it unlocked. Well arrived around 6:30 Friday night to pickup my truck to find it locked up with no way to get in. Unfortunately they have no emergency contact number. So being from out of town and no way to get home I needed to search the area and find somebody that might no someone. No luck. Did find someone who said some of the mechanics hang out at a bar and I may find them there. Unfortunately there were no mechanics there. The bartender did find someone one who might know somebody and they would have them come talk to me. After about 45 minutes in the bar she was able to make contact with the owner and he sent someone down to break into my truck. So after a 200.00 recharge and over 3 hours of stress I was on my way around 10pm. It would have been nice to have been offered some kind of discount but no such offer came. They did do great work but I think my time was worth something and it would have been nice if the owner would have asked to talk to me. Very tired but cool 🥶 Red Dodge 3500 owner

    Best auto repair in Gallatin county. Honest, courteous, and fair. You won't go wrong with B and L. However, B&L has a new policy (not in force in February 2022) to charge the customer 3% for using credit and debit cards. There are signs on the door and on the desk. But, if you are not paying attention (like me) you will get a shock when the 3% shows up on your credit card bill. They accept checks and that won't cost you more of your hard earned money.

    For me, trust in my mechanic is clutch (hahaha... see what i did there). I don't know the first things about vehicles. I feel vulnerable going to mechanics and am worried I'll be taken advantage of. I found B&L because folks in my network who scrutinize their mechanics recommended them. I've take my three vehicles there several times. Each time I've walked away feeling like this team was honest and upfront. I especially appreciate how they are using technology to keep me informed and setting expectations. Just like hiring a fishing guide... I don't want surprises... I want clear expectations.
